The Hanging Church, built in the 3rd century, and the Church of St. Sergius, where the Holy Family resided, will be shown to you as you take your included breakfast in the morning and tour the ancient Roman fortress of Babylon, built by Emperor Trajan 2000 years ago. The oldest synagogue in the region, Ben Ezra, will visit at the end of the Coptic Cairo.
Then we will visit the Egyptian Museum, which holds the largest collection of Egyptian antiquities in the world, including all the gold and silver objects of the boy-king Tutankhamun.
After lunch, we will move on to visit the Saladin Citadel, and we will visit the Mohammed Ali Mosque inside and enjoy a panorama of Islamic Cairo as well as modern buildings such as the Cairo Tower and the television building.
At the end of our day tours of Cairo, transfer you to Islamic Cairo so you can spend some time shopping in the venerable and distinctive Khan El Khalili market.
Finally, we will drive you back to your hotel for the remainder of your stay in Cairo.
